Shared Grocery List & Home Inventory

Real-time inventory management for the modern home

Procurement is often the most disorganized part of a household's operations. Most people rely on memory or fragmented text threads, which leads to waste and extra trips to the store.

We have moved to a real-time, collaborative shopping list within the Perelo app. This allows every family member to contribute to the "needed" list the moment a deficit is identified.

When someone is at a retail location, they have the full data set in front of them. This eliminates the need for status-update calls and ensures that every trip is 100% effective. It's about minimizing the time spent on chores and maximizing the efficiency of our household supply chain.

By populating the list as we go, we ensure that the home is always stocked without the need for manual inventory checks or redundant communication.

No more "did you get the milk?" phone calls

I can't tell you how many times I've walked through the front door with bags of groceries only to have someone ask, "Wait, did you get the eggs?" No, I didn't, because nobody told me we were out!

I used to try to keep a paper list on the fridge, but I'd always forget to take a photo of it before I left the house.

Now we use the shopping list in Perelo. It's so much easier. Whoever sees that the cereal is low just adds it to the list right then. If I'm at the store, I just open the app and the list is already updated with whatever the kids or my partner added five minutes ago. I don't have to call anyone. I don't have to guess. I just buy what's on the list and go home.

It sounds like a small thing, but it has stopped so many annoying arguments in our kitchen.
