Yes. We use 'Vault-Level Security.' Unlike traditional databases, your data is protected by rules built directly into the storage layer. Only you and the people you explicitly authorize can ever see your family's information.
A Family Member is a profile (like a child) that an Admin creates to store sizes, medical info, and wishes. A User is a Family Member who has been invited to the app on their own smartphone to help manage the household.
- Admins have full control.
- Users can edit the Calendar, Shopping Lists and add wishes.
- Guests (like Grandparents, godparents, uncles, exes etc.) have limited access: they can only see Wish Lists and Sizing Information so they don't buy a too small shirt!
Guests can see sizes and mark items as 'Claimed' so no one buys the same thing twice. To keep the surprise alive, the list owner never sees what has been claimed!
